Welcome to the Club
About us
The Club was founded in 1876 as the Edward Alleyn Cricket Club. It was renamed the Alleyn Old Boys’ Cricket Club in 1906. The Club played friendly cricket until 1973, when it joined the South Thames League. It switched to the Surrey Championship in 1995. In 2004, it merged with Old Alleynian Cricket Club and Honor Oak Cricket Club, to become the Alleyn and Honor Oak Cricket Club.
What’s available?
The club runs three Saturday teams which play league matches in the Surrey Championship. Friendly, all-inclusive sociable matches are played on Sundays as the Alleyn Adhoc XI. Email Kato Blake here to enquire about adults’ cricket.
We run practices and matches for young players (known as colts) in a range of age groups: Under 8 (Years 2 and 3) to Under 14 (Year 9) plus a Trust XI for older children. Email Jim Bridgeman here to enquire about colts’ cricket.
